Foldable RV Faucet - Like it

When designing our kitchen, we wanted to have a sink that could disappear when we weren’t using it, thus giving ourselves more counter room in a tight space. In order for this to happen, we needed a faucet that could fit inside the sink, so the counter was free and clear. We were super pumped to find the Galapara Foldable RV Faucet, as it’s stylish. compact, and rotates 180 degrees to allow us to close the sink up when not in use.

The faucet is made from lead-free brass and is chrome plated. The faucet is 9.8” tall x 7.5” wide x 2.8” deep and the whole assembly weighs just over 2lbs. There are red and blue trims on the handles to indicate the hot and cold water. The faucet has a range of 180 degrees vertically and also rotates 360 degrees around the base. We mounted the faucet in a 16" Ticor 16-Gauge Undermount Stainless Steel Sink.

Why we like it: Everything in our van was designed to maximize space and keep things that aren’t in use tucked away. The same philosophy applies to our sink where we wash our dishes, brush our teeth, and use for a myriad of other purposes. The Galapara Foldable RV Faucet was the perfect solution for us. The brass construction feels robust and the handles turn off and on in a satisfying manner. The 180 degrees of vertical movement and 360 degrees of rotation around the base gives us lots of options on where to place the end of the faucet and fulfilled our need for a sleek folding faucet solution.

Things to keep in mind: Even though the faucet is over 9” tall, the circular return is almost half that length which can make clearance under the faucet an issue with large dishes in the sink. Your results will vary depending on the shape of the sink you are using. We occasionally bonk our heads on the faucet when brushing our teeth or washing our hair, as all of the faucet is in the sink. We wish the tab details on the handles were a little larger, as they can feel a little small when reaching for them blindly.
